This website, mdtamzidullah.com, is run by MD. TAMZID ULLAH, an independent SEO and AI search visibility specialist based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I am the person responsible for (the “controller” of) the personal data described in this policy.

Information collected automatically

• Website analytics: Google Analytics records which pages you visit, roughly where you are (country or city), the device and browser you use, and how you reached the site. It uses cookies, explained in section 06.
• Server and security logs: my hosting provider records technical data such as your IP address, browser and the time of each request, to keep the site secure and working.
• Spam protection: when you send the contact form, your IP address is used in a scrambled (hashed) form for one hour to limit repeated submissions. It is not stored with your message.

I do not knowingly collect sensitive data (such as health, religion or financial account details), so please do not include it in your message.

• To reply to your enquiry and give you the free audit or quote you asked for.
• To deliver, manage and invoice SEO and AI search work if you become a client.
• To understand how visitors use the site so I can improve its content and speed.
• To keep the website secure and protect it from spam and abuse.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

I do not sell your personal data, I do not use it for advertising profiles, and I will not add you to a mailing list without your clear consent.

• Your request or a contract: replying to your enquiry and delivering work you hire me for.
• Legitimate interests: running, securing and improving this website, and basic analytics.
• Consent: where the law requires consent, for example for certain cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation: keeping business and tax records.

I share personal data only with trusted service providers that help me run this website and my business, and only as much as they need:

06Cookies and analytics

This website uses a small number of cookies:

• Google Analytics cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) tell visits apart and measure how the site is used. They do not identify you by name.
• Essential cookies may be set by WordPress or the hosting platform for security and performance.

There are no advertising or social media tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time, or opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The website works normally without them.

07How long I keep it

• Enquiries (contact form, email, WhatsApp): up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a client or ask me to delete them sooner.
• Client records: for as long as we work together, then as long as tax and accounting laws require.
• Analytics data: according to the data retention period set in Google Analytics.
• Server logs and backups: for the limited period set by the hosting provider.

08International transfers

I am based in Bangladesh and work with clients worldwide, and my service providers operate servers in several countries. Your data may therefore be processed outside your own country. Where this happens, I rely on the safeguards these providers offer, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act or Canada’s PIPEDA), you can:

• Ask what personal data I hold about you and get a copy of it.
• Ask me to correct or update it.
• Ask me to delete it.
• Object to, or ask me to restrict, how I use it.
• Withdraw any consent you have given.
• Complain to your local data protection authority.

To use any of these rights, email hello@mdtamzidullah.com. I will reply within 30 days. I never sell personal data, so there is nothing to opt out of in that sense.

10Security

The whole website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection, and I protect data with secure hosting, daily backups, spam protection, email authentication (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) and restricted access to messages. No system is 100% secure, but I take reasonable steps to keep your data safe.

11Children

This website and my services are for businesses and adults. I do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent me personal data, contact me and I will delete it.

12Changes to this policy

I may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top always shows the current version.
